Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet and overachieve sales targets (budgets)
  • Develop call plans relevant to overall strategy
  • Maintain company CRM 
  • Balance an approach to the development of existing customers and prospecting of new business
  • Work with the product manager to convert major accounts and consolidating existing business
  • Demonstrate selling and interpersonal skills
  • Develop product and procedural knowledge
  • Develop relationships with all surgeons, nurse unit managers, and purchasing officers relevant to the product portfolio


The ideal candidate:

  • Has experience in medical device sales, dealing with technical based products/prostheses
  • Ideally, lives in territory
  • Has the aptitude to work across specialties and a range of products from surgical consumables to prostheses
  • Works, or has worked, in this territory with key specialists and hospital staff
  • Shows a passion for healthcare and sales
  • Understands medical and surgical terminology
  • Has teritiary qualifications in a related area - e.g. Health science, nursing
  • Is articulate, well presented and able to work autonomously and in a team
